DIAP in action 2022-2025

Disability Innovation Institute (DIIU), a leader in inclusive research practices   

The Disability Innovation Institute has strong experience working on research projects in Australia and internationally. Based on this experience, DIIU has developed a set of guidelines to support inclusive research and co-production.  

In May 2022, DIIU released . This guide builds on earlier resources and offers practical advice for each stage of designing and carrying out co-produced research.  

More recently, in October 2024, DIIU launched . This guide focuses on ethical challenges in co-produced research. It supports researchers with disability when applying for ethics approval and helps ethics committees review and approve these applications.  

Disability Matters at ±«±·³§°ÂÌý 

Disability Matters is a global project advancing inclusive research, co-production, and disability-led health priorities. It's a multinational project with partners in Canada, India, Singapore, the UK and Australia. 91É«Ç鯬 Sydney is proud to represent Australia in this international research collaboration. Â
