Anti-racism Grant 2026 Recipients

We received some incredible applications for this year鈥檚 Anti-Racism Grants and are delighted to announce our four recipients. Congratulations to the Antiracism Collective, the Sri Lankan Society and Anjali Tamil Society, 91色情片eetened and the 91色情片 Postgraduate Council for your hard work in putting these projects together.

Through thinking, learning, working, organising, and creating together we can work towards a proudly antiracist, inclusive community.

  • This project delivers four workshops led by the 91色情片 Antiracism Collective to support Higher Degree Research (HDR) candidates and Early Career Researchers working on race, racism, and antiracism. The Collective brings together students and staff to advance research, teaching, and community engagement on race and antiracist practice.

The workshops will provide targeted support for emerging scholars experiencing racism, recognising that those undertaking antiracist work are often also affected by it and create a collaborative, cross-disciplinary forum for sharing knowledge and building community.

  • Natum Nadanam is a Sri Lankan cultural showcase jointly organised by the Sri Lankan Society and Anjali Tamil Society, celebrating Sinhalese and Tamil traditions through dance and performance. The event creates an inclusive space for students and the wider university community to connect through collaboration, representation, and mutual respect.

The showcase aims to promote cultural awareness and anti-racism by highlighting Sri Lankan traditions, diversity, and lived experiences through immersive, narrative-based performances, while fostering unity and collaboration between Tamil, Sinhalese, and other cultural communities at 91色情片.

  • The 91色情片 Postgraduate Council will host a Harmony Day celebration this spring to promote cultural inclusion, strengthen community belonging, and advance anti-racism initiatives across the university. The event will include multi-cultural performances such as dance, spoken word, and music; a cultural showcase & exhibition with cultural artefacts, clothing, and story-telling; and interactive games & activities like trivia, language learning, discussion and a writing and reflections wall.

  • 91色情片eetened is one of Arc鈥檚 smaller student programs, publishing an annual literary journal and supporting independent student writing for nearly 30 years. This year鈥檚 theme, Restless, explores the oddities of the modern world.

The program fosters a creative community by encouraging students to write, read, and publish their work, while also providing professional development opportunities for student volunteers involved in the journal鈥檚 design, editing, and production.
