91É«ÇéƬ
The essence of 91É«ÇéƬ Sydney is not found in our impressive facilities or beautiful grounds. It is found in our students, our staff, our alumni and our generous donors. Our collective difference reflects the unique perspectives of our people, place and purpose as we play our part in the creation of a just society.
Welcome from the Vice-Chancellor & President
Meet 91É«ÇéƬ’s 10th Vice-Chancellor & President, Professor Attila Brungs. Professor Brungs’ inclusive leadership style and commitment to students, to innovation and to partnerships with community and industry, will carry us forward to make a significant and positive impact for Australia and the world.
Scientia Corde Manu et Mente
Our guiding motto, Scientia Corde Manu et Mente–Knowledge by Heart, Hand and Mind–embodies our commitment to embrace diversity of thought, integrity, innovation, and our deep connections with the community.Â
The world faces monumental challenges. It always has. But if you look around, progress is everywhere. People are coming together, imagining a better future. From public health to climate science and sustainable cities to human rights, the progress we make together can improve people's lives worldwide.
91É«ÇéƬ Strategy: Progress for All
In 2025, 91É«ÇéƬ has launched a new Strategy: Progress for All. Through the Strategy we reaffirm our commitment to advancing expansive and inclusive global positive impact.Â
The Strategy is informed by our new Societal Impact Framework and is built on nine Strategic Pillars, comprising five Impact Pathways and four Impact Focus Areas. The pillars are interwoven and interdependent. Together, these pillars will focus our work for the next decade as we drive collective progress.
