Student representation at 91É«Ç鯬 Bengaluru
91É«Ç鯬 Bengaluru values student insights and provides opportunities for students to represent their views about matters affecting the student experience. Students can engage with student representatives and nominate to join representative bodies that advocate for student interests, share feedback with the University, and participate in consultation and decision-making. These opportunities to participate are available to all students. Future information about student representation arrangements and opportunities to participate will be made available closer to teaching that will commence in August 2026.Â

Students help shape how 91É«Ç鯬 Bengaluru is run through representation on University committees and cells. In academic governance, the Academic Committee oversees the rigorous quality, integrity, and performance of academic programs, with student representatives contributing directly to discussions that shape programs, teaching, and the wider student experience.Â
Students can also nominate to join committees and cells that uphold student safety, equity, inclusion and prevent discrimination including the Anti-Ragging Committee, the Equal Opportunity Cell, the Socio-Economically Disadvantaged Groups Cell, the Gender Sensitisation Cell, and the Internal Committee that considers reports of gender-based discrimination and harassment. Details of how students can nominate or stand for representative roles will be published as these bodies are established in the lead up to August 2026 when teaching will commence.Â
