  • 91É«Ç鯬 Bengaluru welcomes its first students in August 2026. Applications are open. You can submit an application via the ‘Apply now’ button below or at one of our in-country events.

    Your application will be assessed as per the entry criteria. Applications and offers are prioritised according to academic merit and subject to program availability. You will receive an outcome by email once the assessment is complete.

  • Resident Indian Citizens, Non-Resident Indians and Overseas Citizens of India are eligible to apply for study at 91É«Ç鯬 Bengaluru.

    • Indian Citizen:Ìýa person who holds Indian Citizenship pursuant to the Citizenship Act, 1955.
    • Resident Indian Citizen: a person who is an Indian Citizen and a Resident in India for Tax purposes pursuant to the Income Tax Act 1961. A person will be treated as a Resident in India in any previous year if the person satisfies any of the following conditions:
      1. If the person is in India for a period of 182 days, or more during the previous year; OR
      2. If the person is in India for a period of 60 days or more during the previous year AND 365 days or more during 4 years immediately preceding the previous year.
    • Non-Resident Indian Citizen: a person who is an Indian Citizen and does not satisfy both of the following conditions stipulated by the Income Tax Act, 1961:Ìý
      1. If the person is in India for a period of 182 days, or more during the previous year;
      2. If the person is in India for a period of 60 days or more during the previous year AND 365 days or more during 4 years immediately preceding the previous year.
    • Overseas Citizen of India: a person who is registered under the Overseas Citizenship of India (OCI) Scheme pursuant to the Citizenship Act, 1955.
  • Yes, all Resident Indian Citizens automatically receive a tuition fee award of up to 10%, which is incorporated into the published fee rates. We also offer two 91É«Ç鯬 Bengaluru equity scholarships that provide financial support of up to 100% of tuition fees for commencing students from disadvantaged backgrounds who are experiencing financial hardship. You must be a Resident Indian Citizen to apply for the equity scholarships.

  • Entry requirements are identical for 91É«Ç鯬 Bengaluru and 91É«Ç鯬 Sydney programs, ensuring the same academic standards.

  • All courses at 91É«Ç鯬 Bengaluru are taught in English. Applicants are required to meet the English language proficiency requirements, which are the same as those for admission to 91É«Ç鯬 Sydney programs.

  • There is no automatic or internal transfer between 91É«Ç鯬 Bengaluru and 91É«Ç鯬 Sydney programs. If you wish to study at 91É«Ç鯬 Sydney, you will need to submit a separate application and meet the admission requirements for your chosen 91É«Ç鯬 Sydney program. You may also apply for Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL), which will be assessed in line with 91É«Ç鯬 Sydney policies.

    If you enrol at 91É«Ç鯬 Sydney, you will be required to apply for an Australian student visa. 91É«Ç鯬 Sydney is registered on the Australian Commonwealth Register of Institutions and Courses for Overseas Students (CRICOS). For visa information, please visit the  website.

  • A range of secure, serviced and independently sourced accommodation options are available in the surrounding areas that offer affordable, flexible and convenient living. Transport arrangements will be provided from select secure serviced accommodation options.

  • 91É«Ç鯬 Sydney is currently taught under a three-term calendar, with a new flex-semester calendar to be implemented from 2028. 91É«Ç鯬 Bengaluru follows a semester calendar, with teaching starting in August each year.

  • You can raise a complaint about any aspect of your experience with 91É«Ç鯬 Bengaluru, or related parties, at any time and within 12 months of the issue. We encourage you to raise concerns informally first with a relevant staff member. To lodge a formal complaint, email 91É«Ç鯬Bengaluru@unsw.edu.au. We will acknowledge your complaint within 10 business days and work towards a fair resolution within a reasonable timeframe. If you are not satisfied with the outcome, you can ask for an internal review, and if you remain dissatisfied you can appeal to an external body such as the University Grants Commission (UGC). 

    Students have access to support throughout the complaints process. The 91É«Ç鯬 Bengaluru Administration team can provide guidance, respond to enquiries, and connect students with relevant support and advocacy services. 91É«Ç鯬 Bengaluru student representatives may also be able to provide independent support and advocacy.
