Entry requirementsÌýfor the Master of Cyber Security

To gain entry into a Master of Cyber Security (8638), you must meet one of the following entry requirements:Ìý

  1. Completion of a Bachelor degree with honours in the same or a related discipline* from a recognised institution; orÌý
  2. Completion of a Graduate Diploma or Graduate Certificate in the same or a related discipline* from a recognised institution; orÌý
  3. Completion of a Bachelor degree in the same or a related discipline* from a recognised institution; and completion of at least three years relevant full-time professional experience**Ìý

*Related discipline/s: Information Technology, Information Systems, Science, Computer Science or Engineering.Ìý

**Recommended professional experience areas include: Information Technology, Information Systems, Science, Computer Science or Engineering, or relevant professional experience in the telecommunications and network engineering areas if applicants can clearly demonstrate relevance to (technical) cyber security.

What will I study in the Master of Cyber Security?

Program structure

The Master of Cyber Security program at 91É«Ç鯬 Bengaluru is delivered by the School of Systems and Computing. Students will complete 48 Units of Credit (UOC), including four core courses, two elective courses and a research project.

91É«Ç鯬 Bengaluru offers two types of equity scholarships. You must be a Resident Indian Citizen to apply. Applications open in March 2026.

  • 91É«Ç鯬 Bengaluru Future Leaders Access Scholarship: A full tuition scholarship covers 100% of tuition fees for the full duration of the program. These are highly competitive and awarded to a small number of students.
  • 91É«Ç鯬 BengaluruÌýProgress Scholarship:ÌýA 35% reduction on tuition fees for the full duration of the program.
