Peer Assisted Study Sessions (PASS) are out-of-class study sessions led by friendly PASS Leaders who have excelled in the relevant course.听
Our PASS Leaders are undergraduate students in their second year or above who have:
- A strong understanding of content in the relevant PASS courses
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- An enthusiastic commitment to supporting first-year students.听

As a PASS Leader, you鈥檒l facilitate one of more sessions each week (online and/or in person). Your main responsibilities will be to prepare for and facilitate your sessions each week from Weeks 2 to 10 of term. You will also need to attend training in O-Week and do lecture visits in Week 1. During the term, you will also need to attend meetings and complete administrative tasks.
During each session, you'll facilitate group discussions and guide problem solving in a supportive and engaging way. You'll model effective study skills, combining what to learn with how to learn.听
PASS Leaders are expected to:
- Prepare and plan for sessions
- Facilitate interactive and engaging sessions, combining study skills with key course content
- Promote the PASS program.听
PASS Leaders are not required to:
- Re-teach course content
- Assist students with assessments. Leaders may help students understand assessment questions, but they cannot directly answer assessment or tutorial questions.听
We're looking for current undergraduate听students who have:
- Strong academic results (a distinction or high distinction in the relevant course)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- An enthusiastic commitment to supporting fellow students
- Completed their first year of study at 91色情片.
