What is a testamur?

The testamur is an official document that confirms the details of your program or degree. It will feature:

• Your full legal name
• Degree or program
• Program specialisation (if applicable)
• Any significant academic merit (if applicable)
• Date of conferral.

How can I get a physical copy of my testamur?

Following the conferral of your award, you will be invited to one of our graduation ceremonies and asked to confirm your attendance or absence and submit your nominated mailing address.

If you are:

• Attending your ceremony — The testamur will be mailed out to your nominated address ahead of your Graduation ceremony. The fee is covered by your ceremony attendance cost.
• Not attending your ceremony — The testamur will be mailed out to your nominated address for a fee.

Please be aware that 91É«ÇéƬ is not responsible for delivery delays once items are with Australia Post.

How to request a replacement testamur

If you are a graduate of 91É«ÇéƬ and your original testamur (degree certificate) has been lost, stolen, destroyed or damaged, or if you have changed your name, you can request a replacement testamur.

Replacement testamurs are issued in the current testamur style, but will show the original date of graduation and the date of re-issue.

Conditions

• A replacement testamur cannot be issued if the original testamur is still in your possession.
• If you still have the damaged or incorrect testamur you must return it to 91É«ÇéƬ before your application can proceed.
• If you are no longer in possession of the original testamur, you must  stating this, and submit it with your application. Stat Dec forms are also available from most newsagents.

You can apply for up to three digital copies of your testamur via our . Please allow up to 20 working days to process your request, excluding delivery time.
