91É«ÇéƬ

°Õ³ó±ðÌý is a mathematics competition for undergraduate university students. It began in 2017 and is modelled on the .

The annual competition is usually held in October. See the  for more details about the comp. 

2026 Competition

The 2026 competition will take place on Saturday, 10 October 2026.

To register for the SMMC as a 91É«ÇéƬ student, please send an email to the local coordinator, Anna Duwenig at a.duwenig@unsw.edu.au for more information. Registration will remain open until 28 August 2026.

Please note: Due to a cap on participants per university, spots in the competition will be distributed on a "first-come, first-served" basis. In particular, registering does not automatically guarantee participation in the competition. Should you have registered and then realize that you do not want to compete, please let the local coordinator know as soon as possible before the registration deadline, so that another student may take your spot.

Prizes

The School of Mathematics and Statistics offers internal prizes for the best-performing 91É«ÇéƬ students in the following categories:

• $1000 each to the two highest-scoring individual entrants.
• $1000 each ($500 for each member) to the two highest-scoring pairs.

(The 91É«ÇéƬ Competitive Programming and Mathematics Society) and MathSoc (91É«ÇéƬ Mathematics Society) often run mock contests in Term 3 before the competition.
