Abstract
Estimates for exponential sums twisted by a fixed arithmetic function play a central r么le in analytic number theory.听 In particular, such estimates can be used to study certain properties of the object associated to the chosen arithmetic function.听 In this talk, we discuss an analog of the van der Corput B-process in the case of Hecke eigenvalues for congruence subgroups.
