Not only was there some sensational surfing on display from the Wipeout Dementia® crew in the 28 May 2016 event but they exceeded the fundraising goal, raising an incredible total of $81,000. All funds raised go directly to the research under The Dementia Momentum® initiative at the Centre for Healthy Brain Ageing (CHeBA), 91É«ÇéƬ. Enormous thanks to everyone involved but especially to our Ambassadors Richard Grellman and Wayne "Rabbit" Bartholomew, sponsors and volunteers and of course all awesome surfers!

Wipeout Dementia 2024: A monumental success!

Amidst Sydney’s torrential rain and flood warnings, the spirit of resilience and solidarity shone brightly at Wipeout Dementia.

Despite the challenging conditions, the Captains, teams and Ambassadors Owen Wright, Mark ‘Occy’ Occhilupo and Wayne ‘Rabbit’ Bartholomew AM all rallied together - Ìýdemonstrating a clear commitment to combating dementia and raising nearly $250,000 for CHeBA. This effort underscores the power of community and an unwavering dedication to bettering the lives of people impacted by dementia.Ìý

The 2022 Wipeout Dementia was the biggest event to date!

On 25 March 2022, 64 surfers representing more than 50 companies across the property industry competed at Bondi Beach and raised over $350,000 in support of The Dementia Momentum.
