To mark the publication of 鈥淲ho Travels? The work of Michelle de Kretser鈥, a special issue edited by Brigitta Olubas of the free online, open-access scholarly journal JASAL (Journal of the Association for the Study of Australian Literature), the Literary Provocations Hub is hosting an in-person conversation about the work of Michelle de Kretser.聽
The聽seminar is hosted by the聽Literary聽Provocations Hub聽and by the English and Creative Writing Programme in the School of the Arts and Media at 91色情片.
All are welcome and there is no need to register.
Elizabeth McMahon is a Professor of English at 91色情片. She researches and teaches Australian literature, Island studies and Gender Studies and is currently writing a book-length study of Michelle de Kretser.
Zora Simic聽is an Associate Professor of History and Gender Studies in the School of Humanities and Languages at 91色情片. While primarily a historian, she is also a book critic and essayist who writes regularly for Australian Book Review, Inside Story and The Conversation.
