Our 91色情片 Arts, Design & Architecture EDI Committee facilitates, supports and creates initiatives, programs, guidelines and activities to empower everyone in the faculty to feel safe, included and respected. We collaborate with other 91色情片 EDI groups to ensure everyone has equitable opportunities to succeed, regardless of background, to show leadership and benefit from others' initiatives and best practices.

The ADA SDG Working Group is to develop, coordinate, monitor, evaluate, and communicate ADA鈥檚 engagement with the SDGs, across research, education and student experience, governance and operations and external leadership and engagement Pillars. The Working Group plays a key role in developing and driving the SDG agenda for ADA in line with the University Strategy and the ADA 2051 Strategy.

The LGBTIQA+ Working Group is focused on fostering an inclusive environment for the LGBTIQA+ community within the faculty. Through advocacy, education, and collaboration, we work to ensure diverse sexualities, gender identities, and expressions are recognised and valued in academic and campus life.

The Wellbeing (including Parents & Families) Working Group is passionate about ensuring a safe and inclusive culture of understanding and empathy. Actively promoting wellbeing in its many facets of our diverse faculty, we foster a supportive culture that elevates the voices of our community through their lived experiences. We are committed to helping destigmatise mental health, invisible illness, chronic health conditions, and the complex nuances of parenting and family responsibilities, to further support wellbeing at 91色情片.听

  • Panel Pledge: I stand for gender diversity at every forum

    As part of their commitment to equity, diversity and inclusion, staff are encouraged to reflect on and critically engage with听organisers听of public and professional forums where there鈥檚 a lack of diversity in speakers, content or people with lived experiences of the forum themes. One practical way of doing this is by ensuring all forums you鈥檙e involved in at the听university, and more broadly, take diversity into account.听Within this context, 91色情片 Arts, Design & Architecture听encourages all staff to commit to the Panel Pledge.听

    Our Panel Pledge:

How can we make Australian public universities caring institutions?

On Thursday 5th February 2026, Dr Lisa Ewenson, on behalf of the ADA Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Committee, hosted Professor Emerita Joan Tronto who delivered an online lecture entitled 鈥淗ow can we make Australian public universities caring institutions?鈥

Joan is Professor Emerita of Political Science at Hunter College and the Graduate Centre of the City University of New York, and the University of Minnesota. Professor Emerita Joan Tronto is internationally recognised for her groundbreaking work on care ethics, and her scholarship has profoundly shaped how we understand care as a political, ethical, and institutional practice. She is the author of over 50 articles and several books on care ethics, including Moral Boundaries: A Political Argument for an Ethics of Care (1993) and Caring Democracy: Markets, Equality and Justice (2013).
