Campus-wide gas infrastructure upgrade

91É«Ç鯬 is investing in modern research infrastructure that enables world-class teaching, research and innovation while improving the safety, resilience and reliability of essential campus services.

As part of this commitment, 91É«Ç鯬 Estate Management delivered a campus-wide Bulk Gas Infrastructure Upgrade, transitioning the University from a decentralised, faculty-managed bulk gas supply model to a centralised network that provides a more reliable, resilient and compliant service for research facilities.

The project was carefully staged across active laboratories to ensure critical teaching and research activities continued throughout construction. Temporary gas systems maintained uninterrupted supply while upgrades were completed.

Working closely with researchers, the Division of Research and Enterprise (DVCRI), Coregas and Facilities Management, the project modernised essential infrastructure while minimising disruption across campus.
