Dr Thao Le
PhD in Engineering and IT (Artificial Intelligence), The University of Melbourne.
Dr. Thao Le is a Postdoctoral Research Associate听at the听School of Computer Science and Engineering, University of New South Wales, working on an ARC Discovery Project on developing skilled AI companions.听Her current research focuses on language models, knowledge representation and reasoning.
She completed her PhD in 2025 with a specialisation in AI at the听, fully funded by Melbourne Research Scholarship. Her PhD project focused on designing explainable AI systems that aim to help users make better decisions.
During her research career, she has published papers in top AI venues as the first author, such as AAAI, ECAI, and JAIR. Her research interests include:
