Markos Valaris is a philosopher working in the analytic tradition. His primary research interests include the philosophy of action, philosophy of mind, epistemology, metaphysics, and the history of philosophy. Agency, rationality, and embodiment are themes running through Markos's work.听Prior to joining 91色情片 in 2009, Markos earned his PhD from the University of Pittsburgh. Before that, he studied computer science and electrical engineering in Athens, Greece. Partly because of this background, Markos is especially keen to investigate how work in AI puts pressure on concepts such as听agency,听understanding,听reason,听and听personhood.

Markos's monograph听Knowledge in Action听is forthcoming from Cambridge University Press.
