Professor Lisa Zamberlan
Professor Lisa Zamberlan commenced as Pro Vice-Chancellor International at 91色情片 Sydney in 2022, leading global engagement and transnational partnerships across institutions, government agencies and industry partners to advance 91色情片鈥檚 global education, innovation and impact agenda.
Lisa is an alum of 91色情片 Sydney and academic in the Faculty of Arts, Design & Architecture. Previous appointments include; Associate Dean International and Faculty Executive member, 91色情片 Arts Design and Architecture (formerly 91色情片 Built Environment) (2019鈥2023) and Discipline Director (2018鈥2023).
A Senior Fellow of Advanced HE, Lisa鈥檚 collaborative research examines three interrelated themes: discipline identity, the future of design practice and transformative learning in the design studio. Her publications examine the role of collective creativity in contemporary practice, a reconsideration of creativity in design education and pedagogy for design-led enterprise and innovation.
She has been recognised in both industry and research practice with Awards of Excellence, as an invited External Reviewer for Higher Education Programs, National Board member (IDEA), nominated assessor for the Australian Awards for University Teaching, Contributing Editor and as a member of the College of Reviewers (iJADE).

Lisa鈥檚 research examines three interrelated themes: discipline identity in architecture; the practice of learning and teaching in the design studio; and the future of design practice. Her research has focused on transformative learning in the design studio and the changing landscape of contemporary practice. Recent publications examine the role of collective creativity in contemporary practice, a reconsideration of creativity in design education, the impact of peer learning in the design studio and education for design-led enterprise and innovation. This research has been published in Design Issues, IDEA, International Journal of Art and Design Education, Journal of Peer Learning and International Journal of Design Education.
