Dr Henry Kha is Senior Lecturer in Law at the University of New South Wales. He is the Vice-President of the Australian and New Zealand Law and History Society. His main research interest is in all aspects of family law from both a legal historical and contemporary perspective. Henry was previously Senior Lecturer at Macquarie University, Lecturer at the University of Auckland, and Tutor at the University of Queensland.

Henry has published a monograph听A History of Divorce Law: Reform in England from the Victorian to Interwar Years (as sole author for Routledge)听and an edited bookTeaching Family Law: Reflections on Pedagogy and Practice (as lead editor with Professor Mark Henaghan for Routledge).听He is currently the lead editor of Family Law and Religion: Global Perspectives (with Professor Mark Henaghan for Routledge) and Research Handbook on the Legal History of Family Law听(with Dr Clare Davidson for Edward Elgar Publishing), and the co-editor of Ethical Perspectives on Euthanasia Law: A Critique of Legislation Around Assisted Dying (with Associate Professor Xavier Symons for Routledge). Henry is also working on Australian legal history projects on marriage and divorce laws supported by the Francis Forbes Society.

Henry completed his PhD under the principal supervision of Professor Warren Swain from the University of Queensland on 鈥淭he Reform of English Divorce Law: 1857鈥1937鈥 with a University of Queensland Research Scholarship. He graduated from the University of New South Wales with a Juris Doctor and was cited in the Dean鈥檚 List for Excellence in Academic Performance. He also graduated from the University of Sydney with a Bachelor of Arts (Advanced) (Honours) in Chinese studies and history and was awarded the University of Sydney Entry Scholarship.

Henry was a legal associate in the Family Court of Australia. He has a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice from the College of Law and was admitted to practice as a solicitor in the Supreme Court of New South Wales and the High Court of Australia. Henry is an Associate Member of the International Academy of Comparative Law, Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, and Academic Fellow of Warrane College 91色情片.听He has previously appeared in the media to discuss various family law topics.
