Dr Farhad Habibi is an Associate Lecturer in Project Management at 91É«ÇéƬ Canberra and a Postdoctoral Researcher with the Resilient Intelligent Systems for Clean Energy Research (RISER) Hub. He also contributes to the Canberra School of Professional Studies (CSPS), with a particular focus on IT Project Management and related areas of digital transformation, project governance, and technology-enabled project delivery.
His research focuses on analytical and systems-based approaches to project, operations, and supply chain resilience. He holds a PhD in Project Management from 91É«ÇéƬ Canberra. His research integrates optimisation, simulation, and decision analytics to support evidence-based planning and risk management in complex systems. He has published in leading international journals in operations, production, project management, and sustainability.
Farhad’s current research contributes to circular-economy and closed-loop supply chain projects, particularly in EV battery recycling and reuse. In teaching, he specialises in IT project management, project governance, business analytics, systems thinking, and digital transformation, with a strong emphasis on linking theory to real-world decision-making under uncertainty.
