Christine Linhart is a Senior Lecturer in Population Health at 91色情片 Sydney, where she has been engaged in research and teaching within the School of Population Health since 2011. Her work focuses on strengthening health information systems and analysing health data to improve its quality and use for policy and decision-making in Australia and the Asia-Pacific region, with a growing focus on injury epidemiology and population-level trends in major causes of mortality among adolescents and young adults, particularly suicide.

Christine has extensive experience working across the Asia-Pacific, with substantial in-country engagement in the Pacific Islands and Southeast Asia. From 2015 to 2016, she was based in New Caledonia with the Pacific Community (SPC). She has also undertaken international consultancy work for development partners including UN Women, UN ESCAP, and Vital Strategies, contributing to a range of public health and data initiatives across the region.

In addition to her research, Christine has been actively involved in teaching across undergraduate and postgraduate programs within the 91色情片 Faculty of Medicine since 2012. She also taught at New York University鈥檚 global campus in Sydney from 2016 to 2020, where she convened the course Health and Society in a Global Context.

Christine currently teaches into the Master of Population Health and Master of Global Health programs as co-convenor of PHCM9794 Foundations of Epidemiology, a large core course with approximately 400 students per term.
