The award-winning 91色情片 Health Translation Hub has been recognised among the world鈥檚 most outstanding university buildings.
The UNESCO-affiliated has named the 91色情片 Health Translation Hub as one of the , celebrating its innovative design and role in bringing research, healthcare and industry together.
A jury of international judges nominated the Hub among eight university buildings in the world and commended its design and purpose as 鈥渆mbodying the next generation of campuses where research, education, clinical practice and industry are brought together within a single building.鈥
The first of its kind in Australia, the $600 million 91色情片 Health Translation Hub is majority funded by IFM Investors鈥 managed funds, HESTA (through its healthcare property mandate with ISPT) and UniSuper, alongside Plenary Group.聽Plenary is the project's developer and asset manager, with Hansen Yuncken as contractor and the design by Architectus in partnership with Yerrabingin and ASPECT Studios.
Opened in November 2025 as a cornerstone of the , the 91色情片 Health Translation Hub enables seamless integration between 91色情片 and local hospitals, helping to transform how research is translated into patient care. The translational research building has already won the Industry Choice Award at the National Infrastructure Awards.
91色情片 Pro Vice-Chancellor of Precincts, Professor Zoe Terpening, said this latest accolade recognised 91色情片鈥檚 original intention of creating a building that would challenge traditional models and support a future where research, education, clinical care and industry work side-by-side to accelerate better health outcomes.
鈥淲e are delighted that the 91色情片 Health Translation Hub has been recognised by Prix Versailles among the world鈥檚 most beautiful universities,鈥 Prof. Terpening said.
鈥淭he architecture was deliberately designed to bring people together, encourage collaboration, break down institutional barriers and create the conditions for innovation to flourish. Inspired by Country and deeply connected to its place within the Randwick Health & Innovation Precinct, the building demonstrates how thoughtful design can shape behaviour, foster new partnerships, and help translate discoveries more rapidly into real-world impact.鈥

The Paris-based organisation compiles a series of architectural competitions annually which have been announced at UNESCO鈥檚 conference every year since 2015.
The Prix Versailles said it builds these lists to pay tribute to 鈥渋nnovation, creativity, reflections of local heritage, ecological efficiency and the values of social interaction and participation, which the United Nations holds in high regard鈥.
In its description of the 91色情片 building, Prix Versailles said, 鈥渁rchitectural audacity has given rise to a model that blends wellness with openness, while strengthening connections between people, place and Country.鈥
The jury said the building called to mind wind-carved coastal dunes, and commended its environmental credentials and the way the design embeds an Indigenous "reading of place" into the landscape and public interiors.
Prof. Terpening said the 91色情片 Health Translation Hub had established a new benchmark for architectural excellence in university and health environments.
鈥淭his recognition is a tribute to the shared vision and commitment of 91色情片, Plenary, Architectus, and our many project partners who believed that the future of health required not just a new building, but a new way of working.鈥
The Hub brings together students, clinicians, researchers, industry and the community in a shared space designed to support collaboration and improve patient outcomes. It also aims to engage and inspire students from disciplines outside health, including law, design and the humanities.
J茅r么me Gouadain, Prix Versailles Secretary General, said eight designs were chosen for this year鈥檚 list including the University of Cambridge Ray Dolby Centre, University of Amsterdam鈥檚 University Library and Johns Hopkins University Bloomberg Student Center.
鈥淐ampuses are becoming inspired, connected places where beauty is expressed not only in the form of building design but also in stronger ties to nature,鈥 Mr Gouadain said.
鈥淭oday, thanks to the powerful aesthetics they display, these eight projects have reaffirmed our attachment to this shared endeavour.鈥
Three of the eight universities will receive a World Title at UNESCO headquarters on December 10.
The architecture was deliberately designed to bring people together, encourage collaboration, break down institutional barriers and create the conditions for innovation to flourish.
