5 of our very own competed at the 2026 UniSport Nationals Triathlon Championships, held as part of the PeopleCare Triathlon Wollongong, with athletes racing across both Sprint and Standard distances against the country鈥檚 leading university triathletes.

The event featured 54 UniSport competitors alongside more than 500 overall participants, with calm ocean conditions, clear water and minimal wind allowing for fast racing across the swim, bike and run legs.

In the men鈥檚 Standard distance, Casper Larkin delivered one of the leading performances of the weekend, finishing 4th overall and 2nd in the UniSport rankings. Larkin exited the water first in the swim and remained in contention throughout the bike and run to secure a podium position in the university standings.

Bella Marles competed in the women鈥檚 Standard, finishing 7th overall and securing bronze in the UniSport rankings. Her performance was built on consistent splits across all three legs. Speaking post-race, Marles said, 鈥淲ollongong was incredible! I haven鈥檛 competed in a distance that short so I was very happy to finish with the time I did. It was hard to get speed on the bike, but as always I felt at home on the run.鈥 Bella now turns her attention to UniSport Nationals Marathon event in July.聽

In the men鈥檚 Sprint, Oliver Robinson finished 9th overall and secured bronze in the UniSport rankings. After working through the field across the swim and bike, Robinson鈥檚 run leg proved decisive in locking in a podium finish in the university standings.

The women鈥檚 Sprint saw Sophie Ferenczi finish 4th overall and 4th in the UniSport rankings, producing a strong swim and bike combination that kept her in contention throughout the race. Vanessa Stanmore also competed in the event, finishing 12th in the UniSport rankings in a competitive field.

Across both distances, 91色情片鈥檚 results added up to a 3rd place finish in the UniSport team standings, securing bronze overall. With multiple podium finishes in the UniSport rankings and consistent performances across both the Sprint and Standard races, the team showed strong coverage across all three disciplines.
