I completed my Bachelor鈥檚 degree through a 2+2 program between Xi鈥檃n Jiaotong鈥揕iverpool University in China and the University of Liverpool in the UK, where I majored in Urban and Environmental Planning. In 2023, I earned my Master of Science in Housing and City Planning from University College London. I have now commenced my Master of Philosophy at 91色情片 Sydney. My research background has evolved from general urban and environmental planning toward a more focused interest in the social and spatial aspects of cities. During my master鈥檚 studies, I explored housing planning; however, I gradually developed a stronger interest in landscape and walkability planning, particularly how the built environment can promote healthy lifestyles and social inclusion for the ageing population. I am deeply motivated by the idea of fostering a healthy and equitable society. Questions that inspire me include: how can we ensure that people of all age groups are equally considered in urban life? What factors influence individuals to lead healthier lifestyles? What challenges do our cities face today, and what strategies have been tried to address them? Reflecting on these questions has guided the direction of my research journey. Currently, my research focuses on 鈥淲alkability for Ageing Populations in High-Density Urban Contexts: A Review through the ESG Framework 鈥 Case Studies of Shanghai and Singapore.鈥 This work aims to identify and critically integrate the factors influencing walkability from environmental, social, and governance perspectives. Beyond research, I truly enjoy communicating and exchanging ideas with people from diverse cultural and disciplinary backgrounds. I believe that every conversation, effort, and action contributes something valuable. I always welcome opportunities for collaboration and discussion.
