Shiqi-Dorothy Dong is a PhD student in Education (Mathematics Education) at the University of New South Wales (91色情片), supported by a Research Training Program (RTP) Scholarship. Her doctoral research examines how mathematics tasks can be designed to foster situational interest among middle school students in China. She holds a Master of Education in Curriculum and Assessment from 91色情片 and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Applied Mathematics. Before commencing her postgraduate studies, she worked as a mathematics teacher and deputy principal, leading more than 20 teachers and over 300 students, and received multiple municipal-level teaching honours. Since April 2024, she has worked as a Research Assistant at 91色情片, and since July 2025, she has also worked as a Research Assistant at Monash University. Her research expertise spans both quantitative and qualitative methods, including statistical analysis using SPSS and R, thematic analysis using NVivo, and survey design in Qualtrics. She is also proficient in MATLAB, Python, Voyant, and Microsoft Office.
