The Aerodynamics Laboratory is a teaching and research laboratory in the areas of fluid mechanics, compressible flow and aeroacoustics. Our work includes the experimental measurement of aerodynamics, turbulence and acoustic fields.聽
The laboratory facilities include four subsonic wind tunnels and a supersonic wind tunnel. It also has a wide range of instrumentation including microphones, acoustic arrays, pressure transducers, accelerometers, laser-based vibration measurement systems, non-intrusive laser-based flow diagnostics, high-speed cameras, advanced flow visualisation techniques, and more.
