To me, being offered a Co-op scholarship greatly boosted my outlook on university, as the crucial opportunities it offers will undoubtedly help me out post-university. To be given the opportunity was also relieving, as I now feel as though the work, I had put in throughout high school has paid off. Following my first placement, I saw the technical and soft skills I learnt on the job translate into my university life which I feel gave me a valuable advantage in coursework by enabling me to grasp complex concepts quicker.
