Experiences of life-limiting illness, end of life, care and grieving in pandemic times (iRECS8848)
Experiences of life-limiting illness, end of life, care and grieving in pandemic times (iRECS8848)
(i.e. a terminal diagnosis, an advanced disease, an illness that has involved palliative care)
(e.g. cancer, dementia, advanced heart disease, advanced renal disease)
*‘related care’ might include forms of screening, treatment, support, end-of-life care, palliative care, grief or bereavement support.
Researchers from 91É«Ç鯬 Sydney and The University of Warwick (UK) are conducting a broader research study on experiences of illness, the end of life, care and grieving in pandemic times. If this relates to your own experience or the experience of someone close to you, the researchers would like to hear from you.
Participation will involve an in-depth interview with one of the research team, either in person or via an online video platform (e.g. Zoom, MS Teams).
As the researchers are interested in different perspectives that surround an experience of a life-limiting illness, more than one person within a family or network of support can participate (e.g. the person with a life-limiting illness, as well as any family members, health professionals, friends, or others involved in their care).
Participants will receive a $50 gift voucher for their time.
To register your interest in participating, you can enter your details online and the research team will contact you:
