Artist statement

This work explores in-betweenness as a state of becoming, not a state of loss. The watercolour paper is cut, layered and reassembled, leaving torn edges, stains and transparent surfaces visible. These marks suggest memories, bodies and emotions that cannot be fully separated or repaired.

The work sits between painting and object, fragility and strength, absence and presence. Through this process, in-betweenness becomes an unfinished but growing form of belonging.
