Hi, I'm Hyunsoo from South Korea. I completed my Bachelor鈥檚 and Master鈥檚 degrees at Korea University, where I focused on groundwater-surface water interactions, and geostatistics. Now, as a PhD student at 91色情片, my research involves analyzing cave drip water monitoring data to determine groundwater recharge thresholds and how they are influenced by Australian climate patterns.

Project Title:聽Cave hydrology and isotopes to assess groundwater recharge under climate variability
Project Description:聽In Australia, the increasing unpredictability of climate patterns and water security challenges necessitate a more sophisticated understanding of groundwater recharge processes. This research project addresses this need by utilizing cave drip water monitoring data to analyze groundwater recharge, treating cave systems as natural observatories of recharge process.
Drawing on a background in hydro-geochemistry and geostatistics, the study explores how various climatic factors influence the timing and volume of water infiltration into the groundwater system. The primary objective is to assess groundwater recharge under climate variability, aiming to provide data-driven insights that can support sustainable water resource management in the region.
