Attention Academics:

Please enter your selected prescribed and recommended teaching resources into the ECOS system before S2 commences.

This ensures adequate time for the Library to purchase and process material (note that print items can take up to 8 weeks to arrive).

What the Library needs from ECOS

Ìý

Library staff have started checkingÌýÌýto compile S2ÌýPrescribed Resources lists for each School. Please provide the following details:

  • Prescribed resources - compulsory textbooksÌýor information materials that students must access or purchase
  • Recommended resourcesÌý– supplementary information material the Library may make available if possible

Why Prescribed Resources Lists matter

Ìý

Prescribed Resources lists:

  • Support the undergraduate Defence/ADFA re-imbursement process for Training Officers, noting that only the costs of the compulsory texts will be reimbursed
  • Ensure equity copies of prescribed/compulsory and recommended resources are made available for students

Library Collection Priorities

The Library prioritises the acquisition of unlimited-user, DRM-free eBooks wherever available.
